“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experiences.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
This adventure travel blog is the kick off for my round the nation trip on 2-wheels to all 50 states. It will continue for years to come and there will be postings about past adventure and useful travel tips and bits. I have been to over 40 countries, all 50 states, and still counting!
I have never been good at just doing one thing and as a serial entrepreneur you may see posts about many subject but they will all relate back to travel. I am a child of a global home and grew up moving every 2 1/2 years. One year we stayed in the same location for 4 years, although we did have two house moves during that time, this was my favorite move as a child because we lived in England which will forever hold a spot in my heart. The other great thing about this European move was it opened the doors to travel for my family.
I was born the youngest of three children, on August 28th. Through exotic foods, custom clothing, hand-made furniture… the arts have surrounded me since inception. The lyrical form took shape as I began to scribble lines that created words. In elementary school I belonged to Young Authors and won selected publications. I continued to write for Museum openings, docent catalogs, as an Arts Editor for 45,000+ distribution, online freelance work, Philanthropy Columnist, books and more. (see more on my writer’s site: http://www.DanellLynn.com)
Travel became a large part of my life from an early age. We would pack the car and go to national parks in the summers. Spend hours playing in the dirt and watching our fishing lines bob from the nibbles. In 6th grade we moved to Europe which opened an entirely new world of travel, and in 8th grade humanitarian projects began and these experiences started to paint the canvas for the life I am to live.
I am a writer, a teacher, an artist, a designer, and I believe that you can be all these things and still have passion. Life is a passion of mine and travel creates the script for my life…please enjoy the acts that I have created in my play.
Let the Show Begin…. and continue…
